My new goal

So I've been really thinking about things that I can accomplish just to keep myself productive through the hard and even the easy times. I want to be a better person. So, I've been thinking and one thing that keeps coming up to me is service. Its a big thing but its something that in my life I've been doing when I feel like its necessary. Its always necessary though. I mean even the small acts of service will help others. So what is something that will help me even grow is helping others. I'm going to dedicate my time and serving others.

Also, something that I've been thinking about that is also very important is going to the temple often. I mean I'm endowed and I should plan a day out of the week to the temple. I also know that its something very important to my life. I don't take being endowed lightly. I still hold that day as one of the best days of my life. I wouldn't trade that for anything.

I know that the Lord is blessing me throughout my life and continues to. Just everything that he's been blessing me I'm truly grateful for. Since losing this job I've learned tons of things that I've been really needing to learn. Hopefully I'll get a job soon. lol!! I would be so grateful!! But it will happen in the Lord's time. So instead of complaining and getting all upset I'm going to use the time I have to improving myself.

My family's been doing great also. My brother Alex is going into his residency which I'm quite happy about! Then also all my nieces and nephews are doing awesome! Just the other day on the news I heard about a shooting near Kearns High and of course it freaked me out. I have a niece who attends that school so I went into auntie mode and called my brother to see if everything is okay with her. Of course she's okay. She got the rest of the day off. What's pretty nice for me is that she is easily teased. So, I can tease her from time to time. But my brother does it all the time. Hey, she'll learn to just tease back and not have it bother her. Then also the twins are going to be in preschool pretty soon. Man, I'm such a proud auntie! One thing that I'm a bit concerned with and trying to be okay with is my older nephew is engaged and he's only 18 and the girl is 17. But, my whole family is concerned for them both. If they do get married then I'll have a nephew married before me. I just think that my nephew is making the biggest mistake in his life. That he should enjoy his young years and just have fun. But its his life. I have no say in that matter. But an aunt can be concerned right?!? lol!!

Well, that's about it. I'll keep you all informed just in case something good happens. Hopefully I can write and say I got a job! lol!!

Family Times

I am still umemployed yet I am still looking.

My brother, sister-in-law and nephew came and stayed over the holidays. I got to spoil my nephew like crazy!! I got a ton of Christmas presents including homemade chocolates. Yum!! It was really good to see my brother and his family. What is awesome is that he's going to be done with medical school and he's going to be in his residency. I'll have to call him a doctor. Man, I don't know if I can call my brother a doctor. To me he'll always be a goober. lol!!

New Year's eve I spent time with a few of my friends. We went to watch the U basketball game then went to party at the insitute. It was a lot of fun! Meeting new people. Helping a friend out with a guy. Then I went to Trisha's place for a little bit then I went home to sleep.
